Introduction:
-What PTSD is? and How do soldiers come to get it? 
-What do they do for us and why is it so important? 
-How people treat them?
-How do they cope with it outside of the battle field? 

First Paragraph:
  • soldier’s heart” (in the Civil War), or “shell shock” (in World War I), or “combat fatigue” (in World War II)
  • How its not born with but developed?

  • Examples for it in real life?
    • Jumping and hiding when a loud noise is heard
    • the damage it does to families and their loved ones 
  • How their personality change? 

Second Paragraph:
  • Primary source: Lady yelling at Veteran for asking for a discount and everyones reactions 
  • What words, phrases and labels have been applied? How have they changed over time? How does this language influence your example’s reception in popular culture?

Third Paragraph:
  • the steps to recovery 
  • how they help a solider get over their fear/cope with it? 
  • example and experience of a person that has overcame ptsd and regained his life back

Conclusion: 

-Final Statement: Even though it may be a hard and time consuming process it is possible for a person, particularly a solider to move on form their PTSD and put it behind them. It will always be apart of their emory and have it forever but they can put those memories in the back of their mind and move on with the relationships they have and working towards a better life and can be proud of all the world and energy they put into making our home safe and protected.
